3D-PRINTED CHESS SET: CONCEPTS

 

This assignment was very fun to do, I tried to keep the general idea of each of the chess piece designs alive while turning them into different bottles (and pawns to wine glasses) :

Here is a picture of the original chess pieces that I created at first :

Then I decided to make a chess board and that led me to create a full set

I really enjoyed doing this assignment because every challenging problem taught me something new and I am very proud of the results!

I found my scissors very interesting to work with since they are easy to take apart as you can see in the picture below

I noticed that some measurements from last time were incorrect so this is an updated version of what I will be working on + more sketches + more measurements!
